I
O lente, lente currite, noctis equi,
Sawcy pedantique wretch, goe chideLate schoole boyes:
I could eclipse and cloud them with a winke,But that I would not lose her sight so long;
Shine here with us, and thou art euery where; This bed thy centre is, these walls, thy spheare.
qu’ieu per me mezeys o sai;
Levad’, amigo que dormides as manhãas frias;todalas aves do mundo d’amor dizian: leda m’and’eu.
’Tis true, ’tis day; what though it be?O wilt thou therefore rise from me?Why should we rise? because ’tis light?Did we lie down, because ’twas night?
As I would free the white almond from the green huskSo I would strip your trappings off,Beloved. And fingering the smooth and polished kernelI should see that in my hands glittered a gem beyond counting.
Cual libraría a la blanca almendra de su cáscara, así te quitaría tus atuendos, amado; y, rozando ese bruñido ápice suave, sabría que en mis manos brilla una joya incalculable: esa sola advertencia es suficiente para hacernos quedarnos, o desear quedarnos, al menos, porque permanecer es imposible: el mundo del día está en contra nuestra. Todo: el trajín de los hombres: The merchant bows unto the seaman’s star, / The ploughman from the sun his season takes, hombres que buscan en las estrellas (el alba es de William d’Avenant); todo: la guerra misma, como en la aubade de Empson: Hours before dawn we were woken by the quake, un temblor, el de las bombas sobre Japón, que tiraba los libros de los estantes, rompía las botellas una tras otra, y luego una pausa y un nuevo temblor, más intenso: mejor vámonos: It seemed the best thing to be up and go; todo: las aves también, como en la más cabrona de las albas: ¿Ya te vas?, pregunta Juliet, si falta tanto para que amanezca,It was the nightingale, and not the lark,That pierced the fearful hollow of thine ear;
Look, love, what envious streaks
Do lace the severing clouds in yonder east!
Si me quedara moriría.
It is some meteor that the sun exhales,To be to thee this night a torch-bearer,And light thee on thy way to Mantua:
Juliet. It is, it is: hie hence, be gone, away!It is the lark that sings so out of tune,
III
Waking at four to soundless dark, I stare. In time the curtain-edges will grow light.Till then I see what's really always there:Unresting death, a whole day nearer now,
De An introduction to Old Occitan tomé una lectura de William E. Paden.
NO TE DESTROZA AMOR MIO
ESTA SILENCIOSA DANZA.
MALDITO BAILE DE MUERTOS
POLVORA DE LA MAÑANA.
PRESIENTO QUE TRAS LA NOCHE
VENDRA LA NOCHE MÁS LARGA
QUIERO QUE NO ME ABANDONES
AMOR MIO AL ALBA
Bru
Me encantó hacerlo; gracias.
Larkin fue el que dijo "They fuck you up, your mum and dad. / They may not mean to, but they do. / They fill you with the faults they had, / and add some extra, just for you."
y desperte llorando
de alegria
Me cobije la cara
con tus manos
para seguir amando
todavia
Te despertaste tu
casi dormida
Y me querias decir
no se que cosa
Pero calle tu boca
con mis besos
y asi pasaron muchas
muchas horas
Cuando llego la noche
aparecio la luna
y entro por la ventana
que cosa mas bonita
cuando la luz del cielo
ilumino tu cara
Yo me volvi a meter
entre tus brazos
tu me querias decir
no se que cosa
Pero calle tu boca....
¡Aplausos!y nada más.
faltó esta:
Amanecer con él,
a mi costado
Someone else feeling her breasts and cunt,/Someone else drowned in that lash-wide stare,/And me supposed to be ignorant,/Or find it funny, or not to care,/Even ... but why put it into words?/Isolate rather this element
That spreads through other lives like a tree/And sways them on in a sort of sense/And say why it never worked for me./Something to do with violence/A long way back, and wrong rewards,/And arrogant eternity.
Love again: wanking at ten past three
(Surely he's taken her home by now?),
The bedroom hot as a bakery,
The drink gone dead, without showing how
To meet tomorrow, and afterwards,
And the usual pain, like dysentery.
puta madre: el dolor de enfrentar el mañana y el después es para larkin como dysentery: a disease characterized by inflammation of the mucous membrane and glands of the large intestine, accompanied with griping pains, and mucous and bloody evacuations. leve, pues.
Hola Alonso Ruvalcaba,
Me gustó mucho y me hizo reir y pensar.
http://www.artesculinarias.org
salud
Larkin y Chabeloesdios:
They fuck you up, your mum and dad.
They may not mean to, but they do.
They fill you with the faults they had,
and add some extra, just for you.
Versión también rimada:
Te pasan a chingar –tus papás.
